L and P walked as if it was just duty today. The sun heats them in the muggy air. Two pigeons stand on a roof peek with only their heads moving as they watch the town flock energetically orbiting higher in the cooler air. No cavorting squirrels, much less a slowly moving squirrel to be seen. Nobody exerting themselves until it is a little cooler. L and P did alright even if they figured it would be better to nap.
