J was ready to go when I got there. He and his buddies had already been on an outing, so it was my job to tire him out further. We walked quickly and covered lots of ground. He seemed pretty beat by the time we got back. I filled the water and said bye to everyone before going.

K was quite wiggly when I came in the door. She and I had a nice walk in the sun. She was getting a little irritated at the hill dogs, but she kept her composure. I filled her water bowl and gave her a hug before leaving.

K and I had a great time today. The sun was out and there was water everywhere! I was getting ready to take her picture and then I saw what she was watching. She almost went after what looked like a groundhog, but luckily, she listened to me and stopped. What a shock! There was a tick crawling up my leg towards the end of the walk, but I was able to flick it off. I think I might have only taken one or 2 steps in the grass, but that was enough! It seems like summer is here already!
