D's buddy the toad was at the door like he wanted in for the night too. D smacked him a couple of times with her paw. S drank a lot of water when I rinsed out the water bucket, she must like it cold and fresh.

I was happy to see H again and I think she was happy to see me again too. We had a hot day to walk but I had plenty of water for H to make up for the lack of water in the ditches. We stayed in the shade as much as possible too.

M was taking a nap when I came today. He still thinks I'm going to let him chase the birds in the backyard. It was really hot outside so M and I took a short water break on our walk.
M and I walked down a dirt road it was dry but shady. A neighbor said she thought the dirt road might be were they are going to put a dog park . M was very glad to get home it was so hot he didn't hesitate at all on the way back.
The Polar Express and I went outside as soon as I arrived. Both S-M'am and S-Sir pottied (1) right away. We only did a short walk after that since it was so hot out. Fresh water and treats were given as well as plenty of pats, when we returned.
D and S were sound asleep when I opened the door, D didn't bark until the door opened completely. S only had a bite of dry food because D ate it. I gave S some extra milkbones before I left.
Z and A greeted me at the door as usual. After chores, i sat with them for some petting and rubbing time. A wouldnt hold still for her photo, she was waiting for her lap to appear. Z
waited patiently for his turn.
S and D didn't drink as much water today. D has decided to dig up the mulch and rest as close to gate and house as possible. It was still very hot when I put them up for night , so we didn't play. I just petted them and let them know they were loved.

P,K,and S were all waiting at the door for me this evening. I let them outside and I tried to get them to play with me but they were more interested in the treats they could smell in my pocket. They followed me as I filled up their water bowls before I left.
Outside we go so all can potty and
mill around in the yard. It is already pretty hot so everyone is hunting the cool spots. S, P and K get so close for pats that it makes it hard to get photos.
C was loose in the house so she greeted me at the door today. We had a nice walk despite the fact it was getting pretty hot. I had some water for C so we stopped for a drink several times. She had plenty of fresh water and a treat when we returned.
M is getting a new fence so we played and walked in the yard for our visit today. She is doing really good learning her boundaries. I gave M lots of pats and rubs!
Z and A greeted me at the door this morning. I refilled water, replenished food, cleaned litterboxes and gave Z his meds. I then provided A with a place to curl up...my lap, while Z ate some. I gave Z plenty if attention when he finished.
The barking started as I got out of the car. S, K and P all met me at the door. First order of business was all outside and then back in for breakfast and meds for S and then back out to enjoy the nice morning. Lots of pats and, of course, treats were given.
