K was resting when I came in. It was still hot outside, so we went a little slower than usual. We made it though, and K was smiling.

Both kitties were waiting again and they followed me downstairs. I sat with G and I patted her and she stretched. E came by a few times, too. G took breaks and watched from behind the curtain for a while and E watched from the kitchen.

C wanted to lounge at first, but we had a great walk after that. In the photo, I almost caught her grinning at me through the bushes. She turned and looked at a noise at the last minute (still grinning).

L walked down the stairs to see me once it was time to go outside. It was a hot day, so we walked in the shade whenever we had a chance. She drank up from her water bowl once we arrived back home.

K was a little stiff starting her walk today, but she started moving better once we got into it. She was such a good dog when we met some neighbors' dogs along the route.
